Whoop whoop, hey there beautiful FRIDAY! How are you doing? Good week? Productive? Do anything fun? Although we are still very much in the midst of this pandemic, I got back out there this week and worked on my photo/content game again. Nothing like putting your best fashion foot forward and getting all glammed up to, finally, showcase all the NEW fabulous clothing you have been buying and hoarding during quarantine. And my idea of hoarding – streamlined, organized, and my closet stays current with all NEW clothing that needs to be photographed. I know, a much different definition than one would think! While I have some accessories I am touting today, the showstopper is, actually, a recent purchase that I like to call “my favorite romper!” And, yes, I know I recently talked about a fabulous romper and accessories; I cannot help myself!
Something I was reminded of this past week is that, when it comes to getting in front of the camera, you need to have personality! What I mean? A personality to work the camera BUT to break down the critical wall and just have FUN. Not the easiest to do – I still struggle – but one of my BEST pieces of advice! You know, just go with it!
I am a tad bit obsessed with this look AND it is super cute and comfy too! This “Kennedy” style mint green romper from Rails is the perfect “accessory” to your accessories. Yes, this is my favorite romper right now! It can be dressed up or down for a totally different look! I, actually, went for something a little in between – dressed up wedges, a colorful tweed clutch, and a pair of classy pearls. I could, absolutely, see this with a fedora and fun sandals, or a heel with a dressy purse & understated bling.
But I still think I may have struck the perfect balance with this one! It just FIT my recent vibe!
And, although both of my accessories are from my closet last year, Tory Burch is, ALWAYS, updating their shoe came – take a peek HERE (they have these in 2 different colors – ON SALE)! The“Frieda Espadrille Sandal”is a jute platform wedge that is adorned with a light pink, criss cross strap with pink and white edging, and a tan, calfskin leather backing. They gave me height, made my legs look a whole lot longer, and they are super comfortable too!
And, of course, my bag is from the fabulous Sassanova in Baltimore! I mean, where else, right?
Here is to getting a little fashion-forward on a Friday, and complimenting with a look that can fit your mood, occasion, and personality!
xoxo
