I need to get serious here love!
In an effort to keep providing amazing content for you, let me share some of my non-negotiables, as well as give you the “411” – not to be confused with the “410” – about the behind the scenes upkeep of my blog!
#1: As owner, I have the right, at any time, without notice, explanation, or question, to remove any comment, post, inquiry, etc. that does not align with the POSITIVITY of my brand. This includes, but is not limited to, coming across extremely negative, inappropriate, discriminatory, offensive, and, you get my drift. My readers are THE BEST, and I love hearing from you and engaging in conversation, whether here, on my blog, or via other social media channels, but we need to keep it fun and inspiring! Hey, we can all learn from one another!
#2: Along the same lines as to what I just shared, ALL content that I post, including those that are promoting a brand with whom I am contractually working with, are my own. My content is developed based on my own knowledge, research, ideas, opinions, suggestions, and experience. I promote what I love people! If there is ever a time when I need to directly quote a description from something I am sharing, the appropriate credit is given in both written form and a link to the original source and/or site.
#3: Speaking of “credit,” let’s talk about sharing my content! First, thank you so much for the share! I love when I see people spread the “Janine Serio” love! What I do not love, though, is when credit is not referenced, and/or photography & content is used without permission or the appropriate “courtesy of,” “thank you to Janine Serio,” “you can find this on Janine Serio’s blog” or however else you see “fit.” PLEASE be mindful when sharing my content, across ALL social media channels, that it gets linked back to my blog! This includes, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo, etc., etc. If you are ever in question, do not hesitate to reach out and ask!
#4: Yes, I work with third party advertisers and affiliates that generate a commission for my blog. While this is a separate entity then working with a brand, one-on-one, this is what helps to keep this train moving, and for me to continue sharing my love of food, fashion, beauty, travel and so much more!
#5: If you are interested in working with me – i.e. brands, media sponsors, bloggers/influencers – I would love to hear from you! Please send an email to janine@fit4janine.com and I will be happy to provide you with my media kit and any additional items you may need to continue the discussion!
