This truly is the most wonderful time of the year! I have always loved the Holiday season, and what I love even more now that I am an adult – oh gosh, and only one more year in this latest decade – is that its a great time of year for in-home design events. Let’s talk coveted home decor with Serena & Lily. Their overall style, character, and design collection I have always admired, and I finally have a home that can absolutely utilize these gorgeous pieces.

And while our home will be the forever project – I kid, but not really – these recent finds will surely make a fantastic statement (at UNBELIEVABLE prices)! Yes, there is no better time to start giving your home the refresh it deserves – and, if you are like me, have wanted for the last couple years! Patience is a virtue Janine!

Here are just a handful of the items I have my eye on, and how I would like to incorporate them into my home decor. First up, the kitchen!

I am not quite sure where I want to start but I guess I will go in order of the photos. I have been a huge fan of the Ventura Chandelier for what seems like forever now! I just cannot get enough of it, and debated whether or not it would be a good fit in either the kitchen or a bedroom. It’s definitely an investment piece but it’s so worth it! Can we say an absolute stunner? Next, and going a bit out of order, the Riviera Rattan Dining Chairs have always been a “must have in my next house.” I love the versatility, the durability, and the overall look. Paired with the the Southhampton Dining Table – love how the base and the chairs complement each other – and you have a winning combination that is decorative, house guest (and kid) friendly, and just comfortable. Finally, let’s add a little warmth by adding these beautiful and trendy Scallop Jute Rug to complete the look!

Next, the Great Room! Mind you, there are a LOT of other spaces in our home that will be getting a complete makeover but these are two that we live in the most and the ones I want want to get a framework to start.

This room is BIG and oversized, and our furniture is a bit out of place right now (a new sofa and chairs will be another project). To start, a new coffee table – like the Driftway Coffee Table– and an appropriate sized rug (these come in LOTS of sizes) – like the the Lakewood Rug – would bring some much needed warmth. Currently, our floors are solid brick and dark; these will be getting a major upgrade in the future! We have a lot of open wall space, one being a large brick wall with a large brick fireplace. Again, another major upgrade in the future. While those walls are still undecided the rest are white panels. I thought the Driftway 2 Drawer Console, along with the Lanai Rattan Mirror and Morro Porcelain Vase with bring in a pop of color yet keep it traditional. Again, just a starting off point but some great basics to bring the much needed refresh that is needed!
