Oh love, it has been a hot second! I have been feeling quite guilty that it has taken me this long to get my act together and get in check with all things “Janine Serio.” While I have not taken “actual” time off, I have taken some time off from blogging to get some inspiration and start my new life in McLean, Virginia. Yes, taking time off; it may feel uncomfortable but sometimes it is very much needed.

While moving to NOVA – I feel like a true Northern Virginia gal now – had been on the “down the road” list, things seemed to happen a lot quicker than expected. Please, it was all GOOD things. I was renting an apartment that I never seemed to be staying in, Matt had decided to purchase his bucket list home, and since I had been spending most of my time at his place, it ended up making the most sense! I guess when you know, you just know, right?

Since taking time off, I have tried to re-energize myself with work. One of the things that I had found to be lacking was my inspiration to be inspired and create amazing content. As an influencer and blogger, it is important to have AMAZING content! See, would you still be reading if it I was writing was not FANTASTIC. Okay, hold all comments (ha!) but I hope you know what I mean.  While I have been thrust into a new house, a new city, and taking on other commitments, I do not want to lose sight of what I love – all things food, fashion, beauty, travel, etc.! Oh, and fitness too!

When I found this photo come up in my archives, I knew I wanted this to set the stage for the next chapter. It is fashion mixed with a lot of sass – the good kind of course. I guess that face just says it all!

Here’s to the next phase and chapter! Hoping it is nothing but FABULOUS, and, as always, thank you for staying to course!
