It is kind of funny that I am writing a post on cable knit sweaters. If I am being honest with myself, I can take or leave them. PLEASE, do not leave the post yet, ha! It is the rare occasion that I find one I like, and that seems flattering. Most of the time, they make me look square and boxy and, yes, I go there with “knit” picking. Sorry, I had to use the play on word.
I, recently, pulled out a navy and white striped cable knit sweater I purchased from J. Crew last winter. I remember it very well; this baby was purchased in Santa Monica, lovingly brought back to Baltimore, and proceeded to stay in my closet, tags on, until last week. This happens more than I care to share! I amazed myself, once again, as I tried it on – hey, I can get down with a good old cable knit!
With the temperatures dropping, here, in the “410,” a cozy sweater and oat milk latte – I am a bit obsessed right now – from Ceremony Coffee at Whitehall Mill just fit the bill. Oat Milk Latte’s; don’t knock ’em until you try them!
Side Note: Whitehall Mill is so darn cute! What a fantastic job they did with the space – an indoor, high end market with everything from coffee, to tea, to gourmet foods, high end cheese, libations, burgers, gifts and more! It, also, serves as office space, residence, and a large event space too. If you live in the area, definitely, check it out. Make sure it is Wednesday-Saturday though; you don’t want to get your hopes up for a latte, only to find out they are closed Sunday, Monday & Tuesday. Boo.
Again, a perfect space for cozy cable knit sweaters, your computer, and pretty trying out all of the goodies.
While the one I am showcasing is no longer available, I have found a few others that I think would be FABULOUS for you OR your fashionista…I may even be purchasing myself too! Btw, some of the deals at these establishments are done right ridiculous, and puffy sleeves & fringe are so trending too!
Happy Shopping love!
