Can I Get You a Drink?

Get-You-A-Drink

It’s a beautiful morning, and how excited and pumped are you that it is Wednesday!! Beyond traveling, I feel like I have been going in so many directions and, as I said last week, my blog is getting the brunt of it. Well, that has got to change! I just returned home on Monday for a quick, but super FUN, trip to the gorgeous Denver, Colorado for Easter weekend with my family. I made mention on my social media a couple days ago that I hope this is the start of a LOT more travel in the coming months. It is time. I am ready. Next chapter please. Yes, maybe I can get you a drink – any myself (ha!) – and we can chat more about the places I may go!

I guess I should be wishing you a very “Happy National Beer Day.” What is funny is that you generally do not see me drinking a beer but, yes peeps, I do enjoy it here and there. Plus, when you are in a city that has amazing breweries like the one we visit frequently, why not? Yes, can I get you a drink – a lager or an IPA? It reminds me a LOT of when my sister played lacrosse at the University of Oregon. In addition to their plethora of breweries you are, also, in the heart of wine country. This is WHY I miss traveling so much and, ah, the wonderful memories!

Today I am sharing a sneak peek at some of the places I hope to get to in over the next 8 months – how is it April already – and how I will be taking you on the journey with me too!

Where are we traveling?!?! Yes, WE!

  • My sister and brother-in-law live in Denver, so I have a few trips scheduled between now and October. Since their social calendar of rescheduled Weddings has taken over 2021, my adorable niece “Gully” – the cutest French Bulldog ever – needs a house guest.
  • Santa Monica is on the list for mid June; I have been craving my SoCal life and I cannot wait to be back, staying in my favorite spot, and just taking in the beautiful weather, scenery, restaurants, and shopping!
  • My family’s St. Maarten trip got moved from our, usual, time of February to late October, early November. Talk about needing it! Plus, we are going to celebrate my parent’s 40th Wedding Anniversary in style. 40 years – AMAZING!
  • Finally, I hope to get to Park City, Utah in mid-December for 5 days of skiing, spas, chalets and ringing in another Birthday.

Can I get you a drink, or a ticket to come along with me? You never know, there could be more that end up on the list too. I guess we ALL will just need to wait and see!

Cheers!

xoxo
